PROMOTING EXCELLENCE AND EQUITY IN THE FIELD OF ARCHITECTURE AND RELATED PROFESSIONS
Yale Women in Architecture is an extended family of creative people dedicated to excellence and equity in the built environment and related fields. Our purpose is to provide inspiration, encouragement, and fellowship. YWA provides opportunities for different generations of women practitioners to share experiences, and to learn from and support each other. We facilitate career development, continuing education and life-long professional improvement; foster women's leadership and entrepreneurship; honor the lineage of under-represented creatives and architects; and celebrate the diversity of work, interests and talents of Yale School of Architecture graduates. We do this through programming, professional and personal networking, mentorship, and advocacy.
